Carolyn J. (Hoffman) Zola

Carolyn J. (Hoffman) Zola, age 76, of Pittsburgh, PA, passed away on Saturday, February 3, 2024, at her home.  She was born on September 19, 1947, to the late Kermit and Charlotte (Smeal) Hoffman in Johnstown, PA. She graduated from Westmont High School in Johnstown, PA. Carolyn attended college and later became the Chief Financial Officer for McCrackin Ford in Pittsburgh, PA.

Throughout her life, Carolyn had studied medicine and the holistic approach intrigued her. She looked forward to exploring the outdoors and watching nature. She had a soft spot in her heart for animals, especially dogs. Above all, Carolyn loved her children, and she adored all of her grandchildren.

Carolyn is survived by three children; Christine (Ed) Wolfe of Brookville, PA, Theodore Zola of Pittsburgh, PA, Maureen Hammer of South Bend, IN; five grandchildren; Staci M. Wolfe of Pittsburgh, PA, Amanda J. Wolfe of Canonsburg, PA, Billy Hammer of South Bend, IN, Emiljah Hammer, and Trinity Lane of TN.

In addition to her parents, Carolyn was preceded in death by one son; Scott Lane.

At the wishes of Carolyn and her family, all services will be held privately and have been entrusted to the Carrier Funeral Home, 2834 Maplevale Road, Brookville, PA 15825. Interment will take place privately.
