Donna M. (Sharp) Bishop, age 71, of Brookville, PA, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 2, 2026, at Penn Highlands Brookville Hospital in Brookville, PA. Donna was born on July 7, 1954, in Brookville, PA, to the late Russell J. and Daisy (Whiteman) Sharp.

Donna graduated in 1972 from Clarion-Limestone High School in Strattanville, PA.

The month after graduation, Donna married her true love, Clair D. Bishop Sr., on June 10, 1972, at the Lutheran Church in Shippenville, PA; he survives. The couple shared more than fifty-three years of their lives together, with each being the other’s soulmate.

Donna held the positions as both cook and lawn mower at the Moonlite Drive-In in Brookville, PA, as well as being employed at a nearby motel.

Donna attended the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Shippenville, PA and later the Roseville Independent Chapel in Brookville, PA.

Throughout her years, she enjoyed organizing photographs in her albums, completing crossword puzzles, and nurturing the flowers at her home.

As a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Donna was deeply devoted to her family. She treasured the time she spent with them and held dear the special memories they shared. Her enduring love will forever be a source of strength for those who loved her.

In addition to her husband Clair, Donna is survived by two sons; Clair (Kristina) Bishop Jr. of Scranton, PA, Ted (Melanie) Bishop of Roseville, PA; five grandchildren; Clair Bishop III, Marina Bishop, Ted Bishop Jr., Simon Bishop, and step-grandson; Mark Culver; five great-granddaughters and two great-grandsons; two brothers; Bill (Donna) Sharp of Randolph, NY and Larry (Cora) Sharp of Summerville, PA.

In addition to her parents, Donna was preceded in death by her siblings; Mae Litchenberg, Jane Stebbins, Bob Sharp, and Gary Sharp.

Family and friends will be received on February 4, 2026, from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at the Carrier Funeral Home, 2834 Maplevale, Rd., Brookville, PA 15825. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 5, 2026, also at the funeral home beginning at 11:00 am and officiated by Pastor Jeff.

Interment will take place privately at the Roseville Bethel Cemetery, Union Twp., Jefferson Co., PA.  Arrangements have been entrusted to the Carrier Funeral Home, 2834 Maplevale, Rd., Brookville, PA 15825.
