Glenn R. Hammond, age 87, of Lucinda, PA, formerly of Brookville passed away peacefully on Monday, January 26, 2026.  Glenn was born in Delta, Kentucky and raised in Amherst, Ohio.  

Glenn married the love of his life, Rheba G. (Klingenmeier) Hammond on February 14, 1959.  She preceded him in death in 2021.  They were truly blessed to have more than 62 years of immeasurable love and devotion to one another.

Glenn served his country with honor and pride in the United States Marine Corps for twenty years, retiring in 1975 with the rank of Major. He later served the Brookville School District as Business Manager and concluded his career as a Field Representative with the PA Public School Employees’ Retirement System. 

Glenn attended the Shiloh Presbyterian Church located on Miola Road, Clarion, PA.

Glenn will be forever remembered as a man of strength, honor, and courage, who embodied these qualities by passing them onto his family.

Glenn is survived by two sons;  Rocky (Shelly) Hammond of Fairmount City, PA and Eric (Donna) Hammond of Racine, WI;  grand-children;  Joel (Ashley) Hammond of Clarington, PA, Seth Hammond of Fairmount City, PA, Aaron (Jocelyn) Hammond of Marienville, PA, Erica (Zachery) Ketzer of Racine, WI, Matthew Hammond of Racine, WI, Rebekah (Malachi) Kahle of Leeper, PA;  great-grandchildren, Natalee, Spencer, Chesney, Halle, Bryson, Tucker, Levy, Parker and Sydney;  great-great grandchildren;  Wesley, Aspyn and Wreyn; and his brother; Curtis Hammond of Amherst, OH.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at the Carrier Funeral Home, 2834 Maplevale Rd, Brookville, Pa 15825, beginning at 3:00 pm officiated by Rev. Rocky Hammond.  Military honors will follow, conducted by the Brookville Honor Guard.  

Interment will take place privately at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Medina County, Rittman, OH.  Arrangements have been entrusted to the Carrier Funeral Home.
