Helen Jean Clontz, age 81, of Brookville, PA, passed away on Friday, August 23, 2024, at Penn Highlands Brookville Hospital in Brookville, PA. Jean was born in Ohl, PA, on September 20, 1942, to the late Charles and Mary (Berkhouse) Clontz.

Jean graduated from Brookville High School in Brookville, PA. She worked in the housekeeping department at the Punxsutawney Hospital in Punxsutawney, PA until her retirement.

Jean had a fondness for word finds, puzzle books, and reading romance novels. She also loved to watch NASCAR racing. Family gatherings were her most cherished moments and her greatest treasure. Jean enjoyed being with her loved ones.

In addition to her parents Jean is preceded in death by two nephews; Dale and Chuck Bundy; one sister; Catherine; five brothers; Ralph, Percy, Wayne, William and Ray "Donald" Clontz, and one brother-in-law; Edward Bundy.         

Family and friends will be received on Monday, August 26, 2024, from 11am – 12 pm at the Carrier Funeral Home, 2834 Maplevale, Rd., Brookville, PA 15825. A funeral service will be held immediately following the viewing also at the Carrier Funeral Home, beginning at 12:00 pm, and officiated by Pastor Joe Short of the Brookville First Methodist Church.        

Interment will take place privately at the Bethlehem Lutheran Cemetery, Beaver Twp., Jefferson Co., PA. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Carrier Funeral Home, 2834 Maplevale, Rd., Brookville, PA 15825.
