Kathy Ann (Heller) Hannold, age 75, of Brookville, PA, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at the Penn Highlands DuBois Hospital in DuBois, PA. Kathy was born in Brookville, PA, on June 23, 1951, to the late Robert C. and Shirley A. (Mathers) Heller Sr.

Kathy graduated from Saint Marys Area High School in St. Marys, PA, with the class of 1969.

Kathy was the proud owner of Hannold’s Barber Shop in Brookville, PA, where she worked as a hairdresser and barber for over twenty years before retiring. Her business was a community fixture, where she cherished the relationships, she built with all the wonderful people she met over the years.

Kathy married the love of her life and best friend, Raymond C. Hannold on October 3, 1969, at the Brookville Evangelical Methodist Church in Brookville, PA; he survives. Their marriage, lasting over fifty-six years, was founded on a true love and deep commitment to one another.

Kathy dedicated her life to her Christian faith and was deeply committed to her beliefs. She was an active member of the Eastern Star and had the honor of serving as a past Matron.

Kathy treasured the memories made with her husband on their RV camping adventures, exploring various destinations across the country, including a memorable trip to Alaska. She especially loved boating, where Ray taught her the joys of water skiing.

Kathy had a wonderful sense of humor and a warmth that spread laughter and kindness to everyone around her. She will be deeply missed by her loved ones and friends.

In addition to her husband Raymond, Kathy is survived by three siblings; Alvin Heller of Brookville, PA, Debbie (Wilbert) Dawson of Brookville, PA, and Ron Heller of St. Marys, PA.

Kathy was preceded in death by her mother; Shirley A. Heller in 1997, one brother; Robert C. Heller Jr. in 2005, her father; Robert C. Heller Sr. in 2025 and one sister-in-law; Marsha Heller in 2026.

Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, from 11 am – 1 pm at the Carrier Funeral Home, 2834 Maplevale, Rd., Brookville, PA 15825. A funeral service will be held following the viewing, also at the Carrier Funeral Home beginning at 1:00 pm and officiated by Reverend Loren McQueen.

Interment will take place privately at the Westview Cemetery, Clover Twp., Jefferson Co., PA.  Arrangements have been entrusted to the Carrier Funeral Home, 2834 Maplevale, Rd., Brookville, PA 15825.
