Linda F. (Powell) (Buzard) Heller, age 79, of Brookville, PA, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, at the Penn Highlands Jefferson Manor in Brookville, PA. Born to the late Fredrick and Earlene (Helge) Powell on May 12, 1945, in Brownwood, TX. She graduated from Brookville Area High School. She married Donald J. Buzard, he preceded her in death.

Linda went on to work as a Dietary Aide for the Pennsylvania Memorial Home, and then as a housekeeper/laundry aide at the Laurelbrooke Landing in Brookville, PA, until her retirement. She then married William (Bill) Heller in July of 2005 in Brookville, PA.

Linda had an infectious laugh and loved her family deeply. Her love language was feeding others, and her grandkids were the beneficiaries of many overfilled cookie jars. She enjoyed working in her flower beds, baking, hosting her yearly Christmas gathering, spending time in the sun, and caring for her cats. Above all, spending time with her family, grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren was the most important aspect of her life. Her absence will be deeply felt by everyone who knew and loved her.  

Linda is survived by two daughters; Bridgette Cieleski, and Shannon (Steve) Plyler; six grandchildren; Jacob Cieleski, Sadie (Matt) Kent, Noah Cieleski (Deana), Sarah (Mike) Hays, Luke Cieleski (Emma Miller), and Steven Plyler; eight great grandchildren; Isabella D’Avanzo, Gabriel Cieleski, Nico Cieleski, Carson Jane Kent, Emilia Cieleski, Colson Cieleski, Harper Kent, and Enie Hays; one sister; Valerie Plyler of Vienna, Ohio; as well as her beloved cats; Bell and Callie.

In addition to her parents, her first husband and father of her children; Donald J. Buzard, and her second husband Bill Heller, Linda is preceded in death by one son; Randall J. “Buzzy” Buzard; and one brother; Fred Powell.

In accordance with Linda’s wishes, all services will be private. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date for other family and friends to attend. Interment will take place privately at the St. Johns (Windy Hill) Cemetery, Rose Township, Jefferson Co., PA. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Carrier Funeral Home in Brookville, PA.
