Lisa K. (Simpson) Taylor, age 60, of Corsica, PA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at UPMC Magee-Womens Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. Lisa was born in Brookville, PA, on May 29, 1965, to the late Paul E. and Harriett R. (Gates) Simpson.

Lisa graduated from Clarion-Limestone High School in Strattanville, PA, with the class of 1983.

Throughout her career, Lisa had worked at a variety of establishments around the area, including Farmer’s Inn Restaurant, Blue Top Restaurant, Short Stop Truck Stop, office cleaning services for Simpson Excavating and Mays Gas & Coal Company, and most recently held the position of office manager at the Ankle & Foot Associates in Brookville, PA.

Lisa married the love of her life, Jeff L. Taylor, on September 5, 1987, at the Corsica United Methodist Church in Corsica, PA; he survives. Their union of more than thirty-eight years was marked by a true love and unwavering commitment to one another.

Lisa enjoyed a variety of leisure activities such as dirt track racing, camping with her family, fishing, boating, mowing her lawn, planting flowers or any other outdoor pursuits. Christmas was her absolute favorite holiday, and she loved going to Kraynaks. She loved feeding her fish and caring for the other animals in her home. Family had always been at the forefront of Lisa’s life, with her loving husband, daughters, grandson, and son-in-law, who were the very heart of her existence. She loved spending time with family and friends more than anything else in this world. Throughout her life, Lisa always provided love and support to her loved ones. This kind of enduring love will be long remembered by those who knew and adored her. Her passing has left a void in the hearts of her family, friends, and many more whose lives were touched by her.
