Patricia Lou Sebring, age 81, of El Dorado Hills, CA, formerly of Sheffield and DuBois, PA, passed away peacefully at the Marshall Medical Center in Placerville, CA, on December 27, 2022. She was born in DuBois, PA, on April 28, 1941, to the late Domenic and Margaret (Punchios) Palumbo. Patricia married the love of her life, Albert Wayne Sebring, who preceded her in passing in 1996.
After attending the DuBois High School, she held jobs at various companies over the years including Rockwell International, Blair New Process, Tall Oaks Gift Shop, and Ruth M. Smith Center Assisted Living. Above all, her most important job was caring for her family.
Patricia’s passion was her family. In 1996, when her husband passed away, she made the brave decision to move from Sheffield, PA, to Northern California to be closer to her children and their growing families. She thrived as an involved “Nona” and was an active part of all their lives, never missing an event no matter how small. If there was a sporting event, dance show, piano recital, or school performance, Nona was there cheering for all the kids, and of course for her grandkids the loudest. The distance did not keep her from maintaining strong relationships with east coast relatives as she loved Face Timing with her grandson, great-granddaughters and messaged regularly with her nieces and nephews. She loved her dogs, baking, reading, and gardening, but cherished holidays the most. That is where she passed along the precious gifts of tradition to her grandchildren.
Patricia is survived by three children; Thomas Bailey of Odenton, MD, Timothy Sebring of El Dorado Hills, CA, and Vicki (Sebring) Crozier of El Dorado Hills, CA; five grandchildren; Jeremy Bailey, Courtney Sebring, Brock Sebring, Sydney Crozier, and Zachary Crozier; two great-grandchildren; Adele Bailey, and Vivian Bailey; one sister; Thereasa (Palumbo) Hinderliter of New Columbia, PA; one brother; Joseph Palumbo of DuBois, PA, and her beloved pet dog; Misty.
In addition to her parents and beloved husband; Patricia is preceded in death by an infant daughter; Kimberly Sebring; two sisters; Adeline (Palumbo) Naugle, and Marjorie (Palumbo) Burkett; two brothers; John “Tom” Palumbo, and Theodore Palumbo.
