Patricia “Pat” May (Foulkrod) McCool, age 87, of Brookville, PA, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 6, 2026, at McKinley Health Center in Brookville, PA. Patricia was born in Brookville, PA, on May 2, 1938, to the late Jesse Edward and Letha Roberta (Wolfe) Foulkrod.

Patricia graduated from Brookville High School in Brookville, PA, with the class of 1956.

Throughout her life, Pat was a homemaker and mother to her precious family. Later in life she worked as an insurance agent for Carrier Insurance in Summerville, PA.

Patricia married her beloved Russell Reid McCool, on July 19, 1958, at the Hazen Methodist Church in Hazen, PA. He preceded her in death. For more than fifty-one years, the couple lived a life of love and companionship as they raised their children together.  

Patricia was a member of the United Methodist Church in Summerville, PA, where she also served as the church treasurer for many years.

Patricia enjoyed baking cookies and bread for family and friends. She played in a card club where she found joy in being social.

Throughout her lifetime, Patricia was a source of joy and comfort to her family. As a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, she cherished moments with her loved ones, always valuing the time they shared together. Patricia will be greatly missed and forever remembered.

Patricia is survived by three children; Virginia (Bill) Molinengo of Brookville, PA, John (Lori) McCool of Russell, PA, Dave (Virginia) McCool of Sarver, PA; seven grandchildren; Katie Molinengo, Lisa Molinengo, Jessica (Levi) Hetrick, Jacob McCool, Jackson McCool, Connor McCool, Quinn McCool; one great grandson; Aiden Hetrick; one brother; Frank Foulkrod; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband Russell, Patricia was preceded in death by three brothers; James Foulkrod, Larry Foulkrod, and Raymond Foulkrod.  

Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, from 2 – 4 pm and 6 – 8 pm at the Carrier Funeral Home, 2834 Maplevale, Rd., Brookville, PA 15825. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, also at the Carrier Funeral Home beginning at 11:00 am and officiated by Pastor Dianne Hetrick.

Interment will take place privately at the Mt. Tabor Cemetery, Eldred Twp., Jefferson Co., PA.  Arrangements have been entrusted to the Carrier Funeral Home, 2834 Maplevale, Rd., Brookville, PA 15825.
