Patricia Lynn “Patti” (Kammerdeiner) Dinger, age 66, of Brookville, PA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 26, 2024, at UPMC MaGee-Womens Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. Patti was born in Brookville, PA, on April 22, 1958, to Gary G. Kammerdeiner and the late Nancy A. (Kane) Kammerdeiner.

Patti attended Brookville High School in Brookville, PA. Throughout her lifetime, she maintained her role as a homemaker within her own home and held other jobs in a variety of other occupations.

Patti married her true love, David W. Dinger, on April 8, 1994, in Hawthorn, PA; he survives. They were married for more than thirty years and lived a long and happy life together.

Patti enjoyed a variety of hobbies that included cross stitching, crocheting, reading, gardening and horticulture, while also attempting to master knitting.

Patti was devoted to her family, fulfilling the roles of wife, mother and grandmother. At the heart of her life was her family, and she treasured the countless memories they created together. The love she shared will remain forever in the hearts of those who deeply cherished her.

In addition to her father and husband David, Patti is survived by one daughter; Stacy L. Hartzell of Brookville, PA; one granddaughter; Ashley Donohue of Brookville, PA; and one sister; Verna (David) Sloan of Summerville, PA. Patti is preceded in death by her mother Nancy in 1997.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 29, 2024, at 2:30 pm at the Carrier Funeral Home, 2834 Maplevale, Rd., Brookville, PA 15825, and officiated by Rev. J. Ray Baker.        

Interment will take place privately at the Emerickville Church of God Cemetery Rd., Pinecreek Twp., Jefferson Co., PA.  Arrangements have been entrusted to the Carrier Funeral Home, 2834 Maplevale, Rd., Brookville, PA 15825.
