Richard “Dick” J. Atcheson, age 73, of Brookville, PA, passed away on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at the Penn Highlands Brookville Hospital in Brookville, PA. He was born on May 14, 1951, to the late Marion J. and Violet May (Fiscus) Atcheson in Punxsutawney, PA.

Dick was a 1969 graduate of Brookville High School in Brookville, PA and Jeff Tech Vocational School in Reynoldsville, PA. He served in the United States Army Reserves and was also a member of the F.O.E. 983 Brookville Eagles in Brookville, PA.

Dick was employed as a welder for Beverage-Air in Brookville, PA, for over thirty years before retiring.

Dick is survived by one son; Matthew Atcheson, and one sister; Roxanne (Jim) Trayer of Brookville, PA.

In addition to his parents, Dick was preceded in death by one brother; Gerald Atcheson, and one sister; Mariland Neff.

All services will be private and have been entrusted to the Carrier Funeral Home, 2834 Maplevale, Rd., Brookville, PA 15825.
