Richard “Rick” Paul Beichner, age 74, of Brookville, PA, passed away on Friday, July 18, 2025, at the Penn Highlands DuBois Hospital in DuBois, PA, following a brief illness but surrounded by those that he loved. Born on March 5, 1951, in Brookville, PA, Rick was the son of the late Charles and Ruth (Lenhart) Beichner of Shippenville, PA.
Rick attended Keystone High School and graduated with the class of 1969. He graduated from Clarion State University in 1974, and went on to become the owner/operator of DuBois Restaurant Supply located in DuBois, PA.
On August 4, 1973, Rick married his true love, Trudy (Garver) Beichner in Clarion, PA. They spent over fifty-one loving years together raising a family and creating memories to last a lifetime.
Rick was known for his kindness, dry sense of humor, love for the Washington Redskins, Penn State, and especially the love he had for his family. He enjoyed golfing, playing cards with friends, playing volleyball, and spending time with his friends and family.
In addition to his wife Trudy, Rick is survived by two sons; Matt (Loni) Beichner of Strattanville, PA, and Andy (Casey) Beichner of Clarion, PA; his six siblings; Michael (Michelle) Beichner, Charles (Karla) Beichner, Daniel (Esther) Beichner, Jeanne (Larry) Persing, Kevin (Jayne) Beichner, and Lisa (Max) Heller; his three beloved grandchildren; Drew, Tori, and Olivia, as well as many numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his father-in-law; Ronald Garver.
Friends and family will be received on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, from 2 – 4 pm and 6- 8 pm, at the Carrier Funeral Home, 2834 Maplevale Rd., Brookville, PA. A modified prayer service will take place also at the funeral home on Thursday, July 24, 2025, beginning at 11:00 am, and officiated by Father William Laska. Interment will take place privately at the Butler Cemetery, Pine Creek Twp., Jefferson Co., PA.
