Thomas James Kane, age 72, of Marienville, PA, passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on Saturday, May 18, 2024. He was born on February 28, 1952, in Pittsburgh, PA, to the late Thomas J. and Catherine (Sacca) Kane. He graduated from Homeville High School in Pittsburgh, PA with the class of 1970. He worked as a heavy equipment truck driver for PennDOT for many years before retiring.

Thomas married his true love, Georgina (Licehammer) Kane on November 11, 1981, in Pittsburgh, PA; she survives. They were blessed to spend over forty-two loving years together.

Thomas relished a multitude of activities during his lifetime. He enjoyed riding throughout the countryside on his Harley motorcycle. He loved watching football, WWE matches, and lifting weights. His favorite team to support was the Pittsburgh Steelers.

His life with his wife and children was filled with enduring memories. Thomas cherished his family, friends, and his loyal dogs; Bella and Gunnar. Thomas will be greatly missed. 

In addition to his beloved wife Georgina, Thomas is survived by one daughter; Georgina Sue (Shane A.) Yates of New Bethlehem, PA; two grandchildren; Jordin M. Myers of Knox Dale, PA, Alyssa M. Kane of Vandergrift, PA; one great-grandchild; Oaklynn J. Armstrong, and one great-grandbaby “Little Joe” on the way; one sister; Deborah May of Pittsburgh, PA; one niece; Debbie Lee; and one nephew; Jimbo.

In addition to his parents, Thomas was preceded in death by his son, David W. Ealy.

Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, from 1 to 3 pm, at the Carrier Funeral Home, 2834 Maplevale, Rd., Brookville, PA 15825. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, following the viewing, beginning at 3:00 pm, also at the funeral Home, and officiated by Pastor Randy Matheny. Interment will take place privately.
